These guidelines are established to foster a professional, respectful, and informative environment for all members of our community. Our goal is to facilitate productive discussions and the sharing of valuable insights while maintaining ethical and legal standards.

General Principles

  1. Respectful Communication: Treat all members with respect. Disagreements should be handled professionally without personal attacks, harassment, or offensive language.
  2. Confidentiality: Do not share patient information or any other confidential information that could violate privacy laws or ethical guidelines.
  3. Evidence-Based Discussions: Ensure that all medical discussions and advice are grounded in current evidence-based practices. Avoid spreading unverified or anecdotal information.
  4. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Adhere to all applicable laws, including those related to the promotion and discussion of pharmaceuticals.

Prohibited Content

a. Advertising and Promotion: No direct advertising or promotion of pharmaceutical products is allowed. This includes implicit promotions disguised as discussions.

b. Misleading Information: Posting false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about products, treatments, or the effectiveness of medical interventions is prohibited.

c. Offensive Content: Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, and any form of harassment are strictly forbidden.

d. Spam: Repetitive or irrelevant posts are not allowed.

e. Legal Violations: Any content that violates intellectual property rights, privacy laws, or other legal standards will be removed.

f. Promotions: Any use of pharmaceutical brand names/ companies is prohibited.

Moderation Process

a. Monitoring: Our team of moderators/ moderator will review every user generated content piece on the community to ensure compliance with these guidelines.

b. Warnings and Removals: Members who violate guidelines may receive warnings. Repeated or severe violations may result in account suspension.

c. Reporting: Members can report content or behaviour that they believe violates these guidelines. Reports will be reviewed promptly.

d. Appeals: Members who have had content removed or accounts suspended may appeal the decision by contacting the moderation team with relevant information.

By adhering to these guidelines, we can ensure that our community remains a valuable resource for professional development, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among doctors.
