Do I Have to Take CRISANTA Everyday?
Yes. for crisanta to be effective it has to be taken daily at a time convenient to you. It does not matter at what time of the day the tablet is taken, but once selected, the tablet should be taken as near as possible at the same time each day.
Tips To Remember To Take CRISANTA

What Should I do if I have Missed a Dose?
More than 12 hours, take the forgotten tablet as soon as you remember, even if that means that you have to take two tablets at the same time. Continue taking the tablets at the usual time and use extra precautions (e.g. condom) for the next 7 days if you are sexually active. If you have missed more than one tablet in this strip, contact your doctor.
When do I Start a Next Pack?
A new pack of crisanta is started by taking the tablets on the day after 7 pill-free days, regardless of whether or not a menstrual period has occurred or is still in progress. What if I Bleed During the Course of CRISANTA?

If you take crisanta as instructed, Your chance of becoming pregnant is less than 1%.
Does Crisanta Protect Me Against Hiv Infection (Aids) and Other Sexually Transmitted Diseases (Stds)?
No. OCPs only prevent pregnancy. They provide absolutely no protection against HIV infection or other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). It is advisable to use condoms to protect yourself from HIV infection or STDs.

What are the Side-Effects of CRISANTA?
Like all other medicines crisanta has some side effects but these are fewer and mild as compared to other OCPs as it is the new generation pill. These side effects are usually mild and disappear after the first few months of use. A common side effect is vaginal bleeding between periods which is temporary and clears up within the first few months and is not serious.
Other possible side effects are: nausea, vomiting, change in appetite, headache, moodiness, dizziness, rash, and vaginal infections, for contact lens wearers, a possible side effect is a change in vision or inability to wear contacts.
