Calcinase is salmon calcitonin nasal spray approved for the management of postmenopausal osteoporosis. In this presentation the mode of action along with the pharmacokinetics of the nasal spray are discussed. Besides the clinical trials on calcitonin along with the safety and efficacy data are also discussed.
