This case focuses on the management of severe respiratory distress in a trauma patient with critical asthma syndrome, treated with mechanical ventilation, bronchodilators and corticosteroids in ICU. Despite these standard treatments, continuous albuterol and heliox were crucial for stabilizing the patient's condition.
