BPH, a common condition in older men, can occasionally progress to giant prostatic hyperplasia, where the prostate gland exceeds 500 g. Surgical options may be considered for complications that are challenging to manage with medication. In this case study, the patient successfully underwent a transvesical prostatectomy to treat a significantly enlarged prostate weighing 600 g.
