Extra intestinal manifestations are common in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. These manifestations can affect different organ systems of a patients. The skin and the mucosa often affected as a result of inflammatory bowel disease. Common manifestations when this organ system is affected includes Erythema Nodosum, Pyoderma Gangrenosum, Sweet’s syndrome and Aphthous Stomatitis.
