Overview
Brivaracetam should be considered as an add-on therapy for partial epilepsy, uncontrolled on 2-3 antiepileptic drugs. And also, it should be use in patient with epilepsy having irritability, elderly diabetic & hypertensive with chronic renal failure. It is well tolerated with less behavioural side effects and minimal drug interaction. Provide effective seizure control and seizure freedom with improved quality of life in patients with partial epilepsy.
