Asthma Exacerbation Induced by Excessive Drinking Water: A Case Report

Excessive water intake triggered asthma exacerbation by increasing the blood volume and causing pulmonary edema. The patient was treated with Budesonide-Formoterol for asthma control, Sodium Methylprednisolone and Hydroxypropyl Theophylline for inflammation and bronchoconstriction, and Furosemide to manage fluid overload. Careful fluid intake may help prevent worsening asthma.
