The factors predicting refractory epilepsy are evident right from the initial phases of treatment. Therefore, identification of these factors might be helpful to predict response to seizure treatment. These set of slides highlight the pattern of anti-epileptic drug (AED) response with respect to seizure presentation, seizure type, pre-treatment seizure frequency and many such risk factors.
