In the current era Acinetobacter baumannii has emerged as a highly challenging microorganism for institutions across the globe. Though carbapenem plays a crucial role in the treatment of Acinetobacter baumannii rising carbapenem resistance among these gram- negative isolates has been observed. This set of slides briefly covers the safety and efficacy of sulbactam I.V and its use as combination therapy for MDR Acientobacter infections, including carbapenem resistant strains.
