Glaucoma treatment often requires more than a single drug for adequate intraocular pressure control. Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors & adrenergic agonists are commonly used class of drugs as adjunctive therapy. Selecting adjunct therapy for those who have failed monotherapy can be a challenging process. The current presentation gives an overview on the ideal adjunctive therapy for the medical management of glaucoma.
